The Kuwait Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) has released updated rates for its services, effective 01 May 2025. The said update is aligned with Kuwait’s Cabinet Resolution No. 956 of 2021, which addresses the depletion of liquidity in Kuwait’s general reserve and proposes solutions for the state’s budget deficit.  

The new regulation covers 82 services offered by the key departments of the PAFN, namely Imported Foods, Inspection in the Governorates, Inspection in Slaughterhouses, Specifications and Standards, Special Food Control, and Administrative Affairs.
