angle-left ADVISORY: Shrimp Exports to China

An article from the China Daily reports that imported shrimp from three Ecuadorian companies are being pulled off shelves across China after the novel coronavirus was detected on packaging.

For Philippine exporters, the Department of Trade and Industry-Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB) and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Beijing (PTIC-Beijing) suggest complying with the COVID-19 and Food Safety: Guidance for Food Businesses to prevent similar instances. The guidelines were released by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and can be viewed HERE.
